Recently, Engineering News-Record (ENR), an American magazine recognized as the authoritative publication in the world’s engineering community, unveiled the list of “2009 Top 225 International Contractors”. CITIC Construction Co., Ltd. entered the list again, ranking the 59th.

Such a high ranking will help to consolidate and enhance the brand awareness of CITIC Construction, and sharpen its competitive edge in the global contracting market.

According to ENR statistics, overseas contracting revenue of the Top 225 International Contractors grew by 25.7% in 2008, a dramatic increase year on year. Against this background and on the strength of its outstanding overseas performance in 2008, CITIC Construction not only expanded its global market share, but also got 13 places higher in the ranking compared to the year before. It is the 6th among all the 50 Chinese companies on the list.

ENR is an authoritative magazine on engineering sponsored by the American construction and information company McGraw-Hill. For a long time, the annual ranking of the “Top 225 International Contractors” has been seen as an important index of strength of the world’s leading players.
