CITIC Group and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement on July 3, 2009 in Beijing.

According to the agreement, ICBC will provide financing, investment banking, intermediary service and other financial services to CITIC Group within state policies, laws and regulations. The two sides have also agreed to establish a multilevel information exchange mechanism to ensure smooth implementation of the agreement.

The strategic partnership will enhance CITIC-ICBC cooperation in an all-round way. Both sides are convinced that with the partnership, they can further sharpen their own competitive edge, achieve faster and healthier growth in the principle of mutual benefit and win-win results.
